Description
AdvanceGuard® detects, tracks and identifies the exact location of all moving objects (e.g. people, vehicles, vessels or wildlife) with extreme confidence and automatically alerts security personnel when unauthorised activity occurs inside and/or outside the site’s perimeter.
When commissioned, AdvanceGuard aids security personnel to identify, access and respond to potential security threats as quickly as possible and with extremely low false alarm rate.
AdvanceGuard® is highly flexible and can control almost any modern PTZ camera to automatically follow unauthorised activity. It can be integrated with 3 rd party systems such as: Command and Control (C2), Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Security Management Systems (SMS) or other software designed to integrate multiple security applications. This integration reduces solution complexity and enables advanced features such as effortless playback of historical warnings or alarms with associated track movement displayed simultaneously and others.
Features:
- Reliable, service-based software designed for 24×7 operation.
- Easy to install, configure and operate.
- Centralised management and control which offers a simple interface to manage from small to large, busy sites with complex security requirements.
- Provides Situational Awareness display including:
- Easy to use, touch-ready user interface (UI).
Support for authenticated user access with different levels of security. - Scaled images or background schematics with a full geo-referenced overlay as well as
dynamic web-based mapping. - Accurate, real-time display of all targets being tracked across the site.
- Detailed information for all tracked targets, including coordinates, classification, speed,
size and direction. - Real-time display of radar data and radar performance.
- Fully interactive display of cameras including Camera Vision (Field of View) and camera
video streams. - Support for Static Sensors such a PIR or broken beam devices.
- Support for querying the database and displaying recorded target data including visual
display of targets’ paths. - Interactive detection and alarm zones.
- Support for exclusion zones to mask specific areas from alarms or radar detection.
- Easy to use rule editor which enables development of sophisticated behavioural analysis.
- Configurable alarms with audible and visual alerts, including pop-ups and flashing zones.
- Real time system health status information.
- Easy to use, touch-ready user interface (UI).
- Only detects within user configurable Detection Zones. Supports unlimited number of Detection
Zones. - Tracks multiple Targets (i.e. intruders) within Detection Zones. The system can track in excess of 200 targets per radar.
- Raises alarms and assigns real-time target threat levels for different Detection Zones based on
site security requirements. - Automatically controls an unlimited number of PTZ cameras to follow multiple targets of interest.
- The intelligent camera controller will optimise the use of cameras to ensure security operators get
the best visibility of all priority targets. - Supports sophisticated rules-based alarm generation to distinguish targets based on location,
size, speed, direction, classification, etc. to minimise alarms for “ordinary” day-to-day operations
and to prioritise the highest threats. - Enables/Disables alarms either manually or automatically based on predetermined schedules.
- Enables/Disables alarms using external inputs (i.e. gate buttons or RFID tags).
- Logs all tracks and alarms to user searchable, high capacity database.
- Supports integration with 3rd party systems such as:
- NVR / DVR systems using open standards (e.g. XML) to initiate recordings of incidents.
PSIM systems. - Relay output
- NVR / DVR systems using open standards (e.g. XML) to initiate recordings of incidents.
- Supports desktop computers and servers as well as fully featured Windows devices (e.g. Windows
tablets). - Client/Server architecture enabling multiple operators or administrators to use the system at the
same time. - Distributed design that can easily scale to support very large sites with many radar and cameras.
Integration Features:
PTZ’s camera supporting
- ONVIF
- Absolute positioning commands
XML API
- The software supports an XML network messaging protocol which enables the system to output
real time data to external systems. This includes live target reports, alarms, camera control data
and health status. - The protocol also supports incoming commands to controls alarms and automatic camera control.
- Navtech can provide documentation, XML Schema files (XSD) and a message simulator.
Dry Relay Contacts and Digital Inputs
- The software supports the Advantech Adam 6060 device. This provides dry relay contacts and
digital inputs. - Relays can be associated with a range of different events including alarms, camera movement
and health alerts. - Digital inputs can be used with static sensors such as PIR or broken beam devices. These are
integrated in the software so can trigger alarms and also move cameras when activated. - Digital inputs can also be used with security rules enabling specific alarms to be temporarily
disabled or deactivated in response to an input. This is useful for security override from authorised
users. - The software supports an unlimited number of Adam 6060 units and therefore can support an
unlimited number of relays and digital inputs.
Custom Development
- Navtech have developed a plugin / driver architecture for integration with 3rd party systems. This
enables Navtech to rapidly develop custom integrations to support almost any system at
minimal cost. - Custom drivers and plugins can be added to AdvanceGuard software without any changes to the
core product.
Supported Integrations:
Witness supports a variety of cameras for automatic control. Each camera is tested, calibrated and
integrated by our software team. This ensures the camera operates correctly when controlled by
our radar system. Where additional camera features, such as wiper and lamp control are available,
we integrate these so the operator has full manual control through Witness if required. Each
camera is tested for speed of response, quality of movement and accuracy.
ONVIF Support
Witness can support most ONVIF cameras not included on our supported camera list. However we
still like to test all cameras for compatibility and most cameras will require a zoom calibration. So
where possible, we like to test cameras at our UK office before installation. This will guarantee that
the camera works as expected. If we find faults with a camera then we request support from the
manufacturer to help us resolve the problem before returning the camera.
AdvanceGuard® Sensor Technical Specifications
HDR300
For applications with unobstructed line of sight for up to three kilometres, the HDR300 provides our most cost-effective coverage from the AdvanceGuard sensors range. Typically used in airports, deserts and wide open areas.
HDR200
The most frequently specified radar in the AdvanceGuard sensors range. Sensors in this range are ideally suited for a line of sight of up to 850 metres. This is typical of most industrial complexes and other critical national infrastructure sites.
HDR100
The shortest range radar sensor, with a refresh rate of up to 4 times a second, the HDR100 series is ideal for high precision coverage of small areas. Examples include, sterile areas between fences, and areas with restricted line of sight.
